County commission honors deputies for life-saving CPR response

Attorney Harvey read the resolution, which said the deputies "rendered aid in the form of CPR for approximately 30 minutes" before EMS arrival and that their actions "serve as a great example of their dedication to the citizens they serve." The resolution directs the board to officially recognize the deputies for their actions in the line of duty.
Commissioner Julie Kinnear moved to adopt the resolution; Nancy Brown seconded. The board voted to approve the resolution without recorded opposition.
The board recessed its business after the recognition and continued with the published agenda.
