Speaker 5 said the merit system was approved in 2024 and the current action was to certify compliance for 2026–27. Speaker 3 moved to approve certification; Speaker 2 seconded and the Chair called the ayes.
Office staff indicated the certification paperwork will be routed via DocuSign for signature. No substantive debate or amendments to the merit system text were recorded during the meeting.
The Social Services board then adjourned and the BOCC workshop proceeded to other agenda items.
