Tualatin awards $400 to Tualatin Valley Pride for 2026 outreach and event support

Representatives of Tualatin Valley Pride (Kit Lorelei, Andy Dettinger and Rachel Grime) thanked the council for an outside agency grant of $400 awarded to the organization and outlined plans for a May 31, 2026 pride event.
Kit Lorelei described the organization’s mission to build community for queer residents in Tualatin and said the group plans to use the funds for outreach and a reusable banner to promote the 2026 event. The presenters invited residents to attend and to contact the organization via its website for more information.
Councilors thanked the presenters and noted the city’s support for community events and visibility proclamations.
