Commissioners also approved a Prairie View allocation of $99,177 after discussion of prior funding levels and a noted request that had been $109,000 this year but budgeted at $99,000.
Other actions included approving the county’s planned payment to Kansas Legal Services at the budgeted $5,000 and approving a $10,000 allocation for a Marion County core community program. Commissioners also voted to fund the Marion County Fair Association; the transcript did not provide a clear dollar amount for that allocation and staff will provide the exact figure in the official minutes.
Two items were explicitly tabled.
