The committee advanced an ordinance request from Crossroads Community Church to vacate a portion of a stormwater-control easement on the property at 3011 Lindquist Drive.
Planning and zoning director Ed Seeben explained that engineering review determined the northern portion of the easement did not need to remain as stormwater easement; the church will retain 30 feet of easement at the north end of the pond while reclaiming the rest for potential future development. Seeben said the change has been vetted by the city’s engineering staff.
Committee members had no further substantive questions and voted to move the item forward.
