Planner Steven Browell told the committee Gateway Foundation has operated on the site for about 15 years and that the addition will provide client rooms and expanded operations. Browell described the paperwork needed: a final plat consolidation, an easement vacation required by engineering review and a final plan for the not-for-profit health-related facility.
Browell explained the property has limited frontage on a public street and that access is from Mercy Lane. Committee members asked whether the use is nonprofit/community-serving; Browell confirmed it is intended to serve the community as a not-for-profit operation.
Motions to approve each Gateway Foundation item were made and seconded; the committee recorded aye votes and passed the resolutions by voice vote (4-0). Staff noted the approvals are routine and intended to enable continued and expanded operations at the existing treatment site.
