During the personnel report trustees approved resignations listed in the board packet and authorized new hires for the 2025–26 school year. Dr. Beeson reported the district is fully staffed except for an ongoing need for custodians and bus drivers and asked the board to approve the personnel recommendations. Miss Brown moved to approve the resignations; a motion to approve the new hires was made and both actions carried by voice votes.
In the finance report, Miss Brady presented the district's annual short-term bond resolution (referred to in the packet/transcript with inconsistent spelling as "Skagov" and "SKAGU"). She said the resolution authorizes the district to utilize up to 8% of its debt capacity and recommended approval to issue and sell a series of short-term general-obligation bonds not to exceed $9.5 million as part of the debt program to fund capital, debt-service and technology equipment obligations. Trustees approved the resolution by voice vote.
Miss Brady also reported that staff are completing FY24–25 reconciliations and that year-end results will be provided at the September board meeting; no detailed financial figures were presented during the session.
