Conrad highlighted social‑media engagement metrics, noting a December post in which the board’s letter about the governor’s proposed 0% funding increase generated 209,574 views and high interaction. She described KLearn, the district’s education access channel, and said the district maintains a YouTube channel launched in 2010 with more than 2,100 videos and about 12,100 subscribers.
Conrad also described community‑education programming (about 5,497 registrations in 2025) and the district’s certified driver’s‑education program (797 students last year). She said facility scheduling coordinated roughly 2,593 hours of community use in the first half of the year after switching to a new management system in July 2025.
Board members thanked the communications team and acknowledged the department’s role during weather events, emergency communications and routine mass messaging (nearly 25,000 messages sent in 2025). The board moved to acknowledge the report by voice vote.
