City staff presented a timetable for the 2035 comprehensive plan at the Jan. 27 Muskego Common Council meeting and urged council members to share the schedule with constituents.
Adam, who introduced the item, said the draft plan has been posted on the city's website and made available at city facilities and the library. "Open house is being proposed on February 11," Adam said, describing the session as an informal opportunity for residents to view maps and ask questions of the consultant who prepared the draft. He said the formal public hearing before the common council is scheduled for March 10, the plan commission will review and recommend on March 11, and final council action could occur on March 24.
City staff said they would provide notice to the newspaper and publicize the open house and formal hearings via the city's website. The open house is optional and intended to supplement the formal public hearing required for plan adoption.
