On questions from council, Nathan said installation of the multi‑way stop and related striping and sign work would take a few weeks and that the city would use its standard sign sizes for the location; staff offered to touch up pavement markings on adjacent streets.
Councilmember(s) pulled item C2 to ensure neighbors understood the change; after discussion and staff clarifications the consent calendar vote passed. The clerk recorded affirmative roll‑call votes and the motion passed 5–0.
The consent calendar also included routine items: financial activity report (C1), authorization for interim city manager designee to award on‑call electrical services contracts (C3), and setting a public hearing on Feb. 18, 2026, to consider updating the engineering news‑record index for water rates (C4).
