The proclamation text recounted that since 1983 the program has received more than 23,850 tips, has led to arrests (proclamation text cited 1,857 arrests) and has resulted in the recovery of more than $9,220,000 in drugs and property; anonymous callers have been paid roughly $316,900 in rewards, according to the proclamation.
Letergis thanked law‑enforcement partners and noted outreach plans and upcoming events, including an April 18 show at the fairgrounds and the organization’s annual golf tournament. Councilors and attendees thanked the group for its work and posed for a photo following the proclamation reading.
