Mayor Swift read Robbins’s tenure and committee service, noting he was elected Nov. 5, 2021, and served through Nov. 17, 2025. The mayor cited Robbins’s committee work on the landfill, Veterans Memorial, and engineering committees and praised his contributions to fiscal stewardship and city operations.
Robbins accepted the recognition and said, “It’s been an honor and a real privilege to serve and represent this community that I’ve been a part of for so long,” and urged colleagues to continue to approach council work with compassion and openness to new ideas.
Several council members responded with personal remarks. Council member Webb said it had been “an absolute pleasure” working with Robbins and announced community items including a neighborhood watch meeting and a corrected online survey; Councilwoman Gannaga called Robbins a unifying presence who helped bring the council together.
The council’s remarks were ceremonial; no formal policy change resulted from the recognition. The meeting then proceeded to routine consent items and adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
