Council approves consent agenda and an underground utility easement for Pinnacles Prep

The Wenatchee City Council approved its consent agenda and separately approved an underground utility easement that will allow Chelan County PUD to install underground utilities and a new transformer at a city-leased site used by Pinnacles Prep.
The consent agenda included Resolution 2024-26 confirming the appointment of Stefan Rowe to the Civil Service Commission and authorization of final contract vouchers with Allied Trenchless, Apollo Inc., and Xylem Dewatering Solutions Inc. for the wastewater treatment plant primary effluent line emergency repair (City Project 2324). Council Member Hornby moved the consent agenda and the motion passed by voice vote.
Facilities Manager Alyssa Schafer described the easement item and said Pinnacles Prep is expanding to include high-school students this fall and will add two portable classrooms; the easement will support a new transformer for those classrooms and existing structures. Council moved and approved the easement and authorized the city administrator’s signature.
