The Murray City Council on May 13 adopted a joint proclamation designating May 18–24, 2025, as Emergency Medical Services Week in Murray. Medical director (name given in packet) and Assistant Chief Travis Botcher presented the proclamation, commending Murray Fire EMS personnel for lifesaving work and 24/7 service to the community.
Presenters highlighted EMS training and service across settings—homes, workplaces, schools and roadways—and invited the public and council members to the EMS pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 17, from 8–10 a.m. at Station 81 (4848 South Box Elder Street). The proclamation passed unanimously.
