County manager Mr. Jaramillo outlined the collective priorities the county board was being asked to endorse, including a request for full funding of the County Detention Facility Reimbursement Fund (a $5,000,000 legislative ask), continued funding for courthouse construction and renovation (reducing county general-fund pressure), recruitment and retention funding for detention staff and firefighter/EMS positions, a request for consolidated 700 MHz radios for PSAP dispatch centers, continued RISE funding for behavioral-health services in detention settings, proposed IPRA adjustments to protect critical local-government services, and a timeline adjustment proposal for veterans property tax exemptions to improve county budgeting.
Commissioner Brush moved to approve the resolution, Commissioner Vigil seconded, and the clerk called the roll. The commission recorded an affirmative vote to adopt Resolution No. 2025-51.
