One council member said the company "just simply keep on to kick the game down the road or blame the resident or blame the industry partner," and other members described rotten poles and guy wires in ditches they want Entergy to remediate.
The parish president and other members thanked Entergy for restoring lights but said there remained unresolved maintenance and safety issues that should be addressed in follow-up discussions between the parish and the utility. Council members indicated they expect Entergy to engage with parish officials to resolve localized pole and reliability issues.
