Surry County honors student quiz‑bowl winners; farmers markets and libraries report new services

Library staff told the board the county library launched a new streaming service (Hoopla) available to cardholders; staff offered information on obtaining or using library cards and asked commissioners to spread the word about the new service.
The board acknowledged the civic groups’ work, encouraged residents to attend upcoming community events, and thanked volunteers for support at recent local festivals.
