Locust Valley board adopts Version 2 of 2026–27 calendar; trustees unanimously approve start and snow‑day plan

Administration said the adopted calendar aims to balance tradition, athletics schedules and state minimums for instructional days; trustees were told that if the district exceeds allotted snow‑day allowances it would convert days to remote instruction as needed to meet the state minimum requirement for school days.
