The commission approved the date and moved to publicize the event in the local paper, on KNZA and via social media.
Commissioners said they intend to pilot the event as commissioners-only initially and evaluate whether to expand invitations later. They suggested quarterly occurrences, with possible adjustments depending on demand and commissioner schedules.
