The meeting opened with pledges and an invocation. Commissioners recognized participants in the Hutchinson County Junior Livestock Show; two students, Corbin Shields and Tyla Tyree, introduced themselves and described their involvement. "I've been showing since I was 9," Tyree said.
On vehicle repair, Rochelle (staff) reported that hail damaged the extension department pickup and that the hood would need replacement; she said multiple vendors gave comparable estimates and that sales tax would add about $88.
