Tollway committees recommend IT and facilities contracts including Adobe licensing, Cisco support and uniform and detector awards

CIO Mike Shea recommended approval of an order against the Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology master contract with CDW Government LLC for Adobe licensing, maintenance and support (contract 250174) for an amount not to exceed $266,632.36 for one year. Shea also recommended use of a DUET master contract to Presidio Network Solutions LLC to provide Cisco SmartNet maintenance and support services for a five‑year term (contract 251078) not to exceed $5,574,959.91; Shea noted Presidio's commitment to meeting BEP goals.
Under facilities and fleet operations, Dave Donovan recommended award of a small‑business set aside contract to JP Simons and Company (Glendale Heights) for replacement carbon monoxide and NO2 detection equipment used at 14 maintenance facilities (contract 25‑0084, not to exceed $248,280 for a 3‑year initial term and $132,787 possible 2‑year renewal). Donovan also presented a Tollway Invitation for Bid award to Silk Screen Express Incorporated (Tinley Park) to provide work uniforms for approximately 545 employees (contract 24‑0065R, not to exceed $399,517.50 for a two‑year initial term and $419,708 possible renewal).
Both committees voted to place the IT and facilities items on the December full board agenda. At the full board session, members approved the committee recommendations (IT item 1 passed on roll call with recorded recusal; IT item 2 and the facilities items passed by voice vote).
