Council discussed whether the senior center had previously been used as an overflow cold‑weather shelter and asked staff to follow up on whether it is included on the shelter crew list. Staff said they would verify and follow up prior to the Nov. 4 meeting.
The generator purchase was presented as a consent item; the agenda session did not include a binding vote. The item will appear on the Nov. 4 meeting consent agenda unless council moves it to new business.
