Commissioners discussed orienting the marker to present a frontal view of the house so pedestrians can compare the plaque photo to the building and so walkers can stop to read. They asked staff to prepare a physical mock-up of the marker to bring on a site visit and requested a daylight weekend visit; staff said they will send an email poll to find a date and reminded commissioners that an official group site visit must be recorded and posted on the public meetings calendar.
No formal vote was taken on the design or exact placement; staff will produce mock-ups and coordinate the site visit.
