Pam Larson, area extension director, distributed the Youth and Governance annual report for 2024–25 and summarized retrospective survey results showing positive change across civic‑engagement indicators. Larson said a memorandum of understanding is being drafted to clarify custodial responsibilities between the county and extension for youth program activities.
Larson also told the committee that SNAP‑Ed statewide layoffs affected local staffing: the county lost three educators, an office assistant and the program administrator (Jeremy). Two FNAF educators will be retained and one SNAP educator will stay through Dec. 1 to continue some nutrition education at the Kenosha County Center.
A motion to approve the meeting minutes was made (the transcript records Supervisor Madoz as the mover); the motion carried unanimously and the meeting closed.
