Resident complains county plow cleared private lot; commissioners hear sheriff budget questions

Howard told commissioners she was surprised to see county equipment clearing a private lot and requested guidance to avoid county crews clearing private property in the future. She offered to share videos with staff and emphasized that she believes clearing private lots is the responsibility of businesses. "I saw a Williamson County truck plowing the driveway, the parking lot of the Best 1 tire store," Howard said, and asked commissioners to provide guidance.
Separately, another commenter and commissioners questioned why the sheriff's office appeared to have exceeded a maintenance-agreement line item by the end of November/early December. Speaker 5 said staff are investigating how a sheriff's line item went over its budget so early in the fiscal year; commissioners asked finance staff to follow up and report back.
There was no formal action recorded on either topic; commissioners directed staff to gather more information and report findings at a later date.
