The presenter said the tri‑shaw is electric‑assist, requires trained "pilots" who should commit at least one hour per shift, and that an information session for prospective pilots is scheduled with further training to follow once insurance waivers are finalized.
Council members asked about pilot training and time commitments; the presenter said training will cover bike operation and safety and pilots should be comfortable riding and chatting with passengers. No council action was required.
The presenter invited council members to try the bike if they see it operating in the city.
