Maxfield asked the council for a reasonable solution instead of immediate enforcement and said the issue reflects a larger pattern of what he characterized as ‘‘nitpicking.’’
Mayor Hall asked staff to obtain Maxfield’s contact information so the city could follow up; city staff agreed to reach out and meet with him to try to resolve the matter.
