During public comment, resident Paul Drankstow urged greater transparency about how much the proposed millage would cost homeowners. He said an average $300,000 home in his neighborhood would face about an $830 property-tax increase and asked the district to publish clearer dollar figures to help voters decide.
Board staff responded that presentations and monthly financial reports are on the district website, and the treasurer said additional details (including any corrected levy resolution) would be provided prior to submission to the board of elections.
