The Orlando City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2026-1 on Jan. 26, 2026, approving the vacation and abandonment of approximately 91 feet of West Ileana Street (about 0.126 acres), described by plats in the Orange County public records.
The clerk read the ordinance and its legal description. Commissioner Sheehan moved the ordinance, Commissioner Burns seconded, and the mayor opened and closed the hearing after the clerk reported there were no requests for public participation. The council adopted the ordinance by voice vote; the record shows the motion carried. The ordinance includes standard provisions for execution of documents, severability and correction of scrivener’s errors, and an effective date.
