Raymore council approves contracts and budget amendment, all votes unanimous

The Raymore City Council on Monday approved multiple ordinances and contract awards, voting unanimously on items that include an intergovernmental jail agreement, a website contract and related budget amendment, and contracts for pavement evaluation and culvert repairs.
Council approved the second reading of Bill 4010, an ordinance establishing an intergovernmental agreement with the Belton Police Department municipal jail to provide inmate housing. The motion to adopt was made by Council member Holman and seconded by Council member Burke; the roll call reflected a 7–0 vote in favor.
The council also approved the second reading of Bill 4009 to authorize an agreement with Revise LLC for website design and hosting and passed Bill 4011, a budget amendment of $68,500 to fund those services. Holman moved and Burke seconded those motions; both carried unanimously, 7–0.
In new business the council approved first readings that moved forward two contract awards. Council approved Bill 4007 to award a pavement condition index survey contract to Applied Research Associates for $59,100; staff said ARA will deliver a pavement condition index, international roughness index and GIS‑compatible street‑view imagery to support prioritization and planning. Council also approved Bill 4008 to award KB Construction Services LLC a contract for replacement of two rusting culvert pipes in the Willow Hills neighborhood for $29,949.74 and related creek erosion repairs.
All motions to approve the items were made by Council member Holman and seconded by Council member Burke, and each vote was recorded as 7–0.
The meeting record shows no amendments to the measures and no dissenting votes. The council indicated staff will proceed with contract execution under the terms approved. The council adjourned following the business meeting.
