Caltrans outlines draft 10-year plan for Mendocino County, warns of budget cut and later timelines

Kirsten Thureson, asset manager for Caltrans District 1, told the Mendocino Council of Governments on Aug. 1 that the district's draft 10-year State Highway Operations and Protection Program (SHOPP) plan is still preliminary and has been reduced by about 15 percent from an earlier draft. "We were notified it's actually gonna be reduced by 15%," Thureson said, adding that the projects she presented are therefore draft and subject to change.
