The Westfield City Council unanimously approved Ordinance 26-02, a PUD amendment to the Westfield Washington Schools Planning Development District that affects roughly 97 acres northeast of State Road 32 and Centennial Road.
Ryan Collingwood of the Community Development Department said the amendment modifies landscaping regulations by putting a new landscape plan in control of development, adds additional real estate to the PUD district, and updates the concept plan as site work progresses. Collingwood noted the item received a public hearing before the Advisory Plan Commission, which provided a 7–0 positive recommendation.
Council took no questions from the floor and the ordinance was moved, seconded and adopted by unanimous roll call, 7–0. Staff and the applicant indicated they would be available to respond to any follow-up questions as the project progresses through site work and implementation.
