The Piedmont Community Charter School Board reviewed finance and operational reports on Nov. 19 and approved a personnel report.
Treasurer (speaker 7) presented the October 2024 budget report and described month‑to‑date state revenue (read in transcript as 1,243,926) and other local, federal and investment figures presented as unaudited numbers. The treasurer said the month closed with a net surplus and reported balances for bond funds and a repair‑and‑replacement account. Several numbers in the spoken record were read in a way that is partially garbled in the transcript; the board packet identifies the detailed reconciliations.
Head of school (speaker 2) reported compliance filings submitted to the state charter office and to EMMA, and said the school submitted its annual charter audit and board‑residency report. Enrollment as of Nov. 13 was reported as 1,946 students: 676 elementary, 646 middle and 624 high school.
The personnel report announced hires: Colby Davis (custodian, middle school), David Morgan (custodian, middle school), Daniel Harden (fifth‑grade science teacher, middle school) and Harley McCarter (EC teacher assistant, high school). A board member moved to approve the personnel report; the board voted in favor and the motion passed.
The board accepted these reports and moved on to committee and athletics business.
