The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners approved several formal actions during the Jan. 27 meeting in addition to adopting the Parks Plan:
- Ratify post-execution contracts (period 12/12/2025 to Jan. 2026): Board moved and approved a motion to ratify contracts on the post-execution list in accordance with the county contracting policy.
- Employment agreement for deputy county administrator: Board voted to approve the employment agreement as presented.

- AFSCME collective bargaining agreement (Public Health) and contract extension with AFSCME CMH: The board ratified the AFSCME agreement with Public Health and later approved an extension for AFSCME CMH according to negotiated terms; both motions passed by roll call.
