The commission approved the meeting agenda and January 7 minutes by voice vote. Planning recommended the new road name 'Spruce Lane' and the commission voted to approve that road name. The board reviewed assessor exonerations and approved a batch of exemptions but denied an exoneration request for taxpayer Messer for tax year 2024 in the amount of $17.51.
Commissioners voted to pre‑authorize routine general account expenditures for utilities, loans and leases, and recurring invoices so the clerk's office can process timely payments. The commission approved hiring Austin Kesselring as a part‑time employee at the wellness center at $14 per hour, effective Jan. 19.
The commission also set a public hearing for an EMS commercial billing fee on Feb. 18 at 11:30 a.m. and approved a resolution related to a North Depot Trailhead congressional directed‑spending request, authorizing signatures for county‑state agreements.
The meeting closed after approval of the consent agenda (purchase logs, check logs, budget revisions and vacation orders) and adjournment.
