Commissioners agreed to accept written comments and heard one in the hearing record from a Coalition representative who urged the 50%‑below‑existing threshold that follows state guidance but recommended dividing the county into development pattern zones for baseline calculations. With a motion and second on the floor and with one caller providing public comment, the commission approved the continuance by voice vote so the item can be presented thoroughly at the May 1 meeting and allow broader participation.
