Staff also confirmed retention of an existing $5,000 one‑time incentive tied to issuance of a coastal development permit for the heavy‑lift terminal project.
On the proposed amendments, staff said they would "bring back in January the actual form of the amendment for formal ratification." A motion and second were recorded, the board voted in favor by voice, and staff said the edits and housekeeping changes will be consolidated into a fully restated contract for the next meeting.
The board signaled appreciation for the executive director’s service before approving the amendments; no public comment or opposition was recorded on the item.
