Board authorizes county counsel to defend in Rogers lawsuit; no other reportable closed‑session actions

County Counsel reported out that the board took no reportable action on most closed items, and that the board unanimously authorized the Humboldt County Counsel's office to defend the county in the matter of Janet Reed Rogers v. County of Humboldt (Humboldt County Superior Court case No. CV2501810).
County Counsel listed additional closed items including labor negotiations and other pending litigation (Yurok Indian Housing Authority v. County and Robin Heatherstorm v. County). No other reportable actions were disclosed and the board adjourned after the report out.
