Members also discussed preparing a Holocaust remembrance proclamation for April. Some members said a shorter article or prior draft exists and offered to compile resources; others raised timing concerns because multiple proclamations and social posts are planned for the spring months. The group agreed drafting could proceed now and, if necessary, the proclamation could be forwarded to the city council for consideration at its early April meeting.
Committee members asked staff to produce a consolidated calendar indicating which proclamations, social media posts and banners have been completed and which items still need creation. Several members noted the agenda packet version lacked banner tracking and asked staff to include a status column in future packets so volunteers know what remains outstanding.
