Chair Madrid said the public often misunderstands the planning process and asked for a presentation similar to one previously prepared that showed how development patterns arise from timing and available parcels. Commissioner discussion emphasized a non-action educational presentation rather than an item that would require a vote.
Commissioners asked staff to include technical details such as the typical street-section width for heavy truck access and how the general plan guides commercial location choices. Community Development Director Everlando agreed to provide a presentation at a future meeting.
