Treasured by fellow volunteers and public-safety staff, Trevor was praised on the dais for leadership roles he's held within SAVE and for the large number of hours he has contributed since 2016. Trevor told the council he was "truly very humbled and overwhelmed" by the honor and thanked family members and public-safety leaders who supported him.
The recognition preceded the council's regular agenda, including consent items and a full public-comment period. Council members framed the dedication as a community moment to applaud long-term civic service before moving on to the day's business.
Council actions following the dedication moved to routine items and public testimony on several community initiatives and developments scheduled later in the meeting.
