At Tuesday’s meeting the Leon Valley City Council approved the consent agenda (items 9.1–9.6) by voice vote. Later, the council approved a resolution ordering the May 2, 2026 general election, authorizing the mayor to execute a joint election agreement with the Bexar County Elections Administrator, and designating the conference center for early voting. Councilor Campos made the motion and Councilor Marsh seconded; the vote carried by voice.
The mayor also announced that the council agreed by consensus to reschedule the city manager’s annual evaluation to an executive session on Feb. 3 at 5:30 p.m., an hour before the regular council meeting, to complete the evaluation process.
No other formal ordinances were adopted tonight; the first reading and public hearing on closing a portion of Jeff Loop Road was held and staff indicated they would place the ordinance on the Feb. 3 consent agenda for final action.
