Nantucket health officials highlight PFAS work, private-well regulations and targeted sampling

He said staff conduct targeted water sampling and raise community awareness through education, outreach and practical advice.
The director also noted broader environmental work such as monitoring spills for potential harm and coordinating testing of wells and recreational beaches.
