Speakers cited reports and urged immediate action; some asked the city to bring a time‑certain staff report on CalPERS holdings and how to pursue divestment. Council members acknowledged the request and said staff was working to set a time certain for a presentation to the council.
City staff later said they are working on scheduling a dedicated agenda item and will notify the public when a date is set.
