The Select Board said it expects the committee to review the condition report from Ty and Bond, tour the building, and return to the board with about “3 to 5” options for consideration.
Members discussed meeting logistics: a first meeting likely on Tuesday at 9 a.m., with the option to meet in person or by Zoom; the board said committee members would receive documents digitally or in print and that an early agenda item would be a facility tour. Board members also said ad hoc nonvoting participation by select-board members and consultation with the historical commission and accessibility experts would be available as needed.
The board framed the assignment as time-sensitive, noting the building currently costs the town money and the committee should present a winnowed set of options for the Select Board’s consideration. The board did not adopt a final timeline during the meeting; staff will circulate meeting invitations and the committee charter and materials.
