Multiple residents and council members urged clearer public messaging about sidewalk-clearing deadlines; one resident recited the village expectation that commercial district sidewalks be cleared within 24 hours and residential sidewalks within 48 hours.
The manager also flagged a new state e-bike law that will require licensing and said the village has been sharing information via social media and weekly updates; council members recommended partnering with the Board of Education to reach parents. On utilities, the manager announced a planned PSE&G tree-pruning initiative, saying the village will press the utility and its contractors to provide resident notice and meet aesthetic expectations.
