City staff presented Resolution R26-20 to renew an interlocal agreement with Garland County for information systems services.
IS Director Jeff Winter said the contract continues an arrangement the two jurisdictions have held since 2009. He said the agreement covers three county‑assigned positions that the city provides and offsets portions of the city IS director’s and assistant director’s salaries; Garland County holds regular performance meetings and has expressed satisfaction with the service.
Winter characterized the action as a renewal of an existing, biannual contract and told the board the county wants to continue the arrangement. The resolution was placed on the Feb. 3 formal meeting for action; there was no vote during the agenda review.
