Royal Palm Beach — The Village of Royal Palm Beach Planning and Zoning Commission approved several uncontested architectural items on Jan. 27, granting staff-recommended approvals for storefront and sign changes that staff said meet village code and design standards.
Application 25-160 AAR: FASTSIGNS West Palm Beach, on behalf of Crossroads AR 2 GS Owner LLC, received approval to install one trademarked Mathnasium wall sign at 1244 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard. Applicant Anand Petrie identified himself as the business owner and said the move was to relocate an existing, well-known franchise sign to Royal Palm Beach. “We are a national franchise... we've been in the county for about 10 years,” Petrie said.
Application 25-144 AAR: A monument sign proposed by Alternative Sign Group Inc. for Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery at 10941 Southern Boulevard was approved with staff conditions; Ricky Torres participated remotely and confirmed he was available to answer questions.
Application 25-139 AAR: Yellowbird International Corp’s façade update for Bridal Plaza at 200 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard was presented as a campus-wide initiative to improve storefront visibility and materials. Presenters Carlos Justiniano and Veronica Espelleta described coordinated color palettes and material updates; commissioners expressed support and the motion to approve carried 5–0.
All approvals in this group passed unanimously. Several items were presented as administrative-level architectural reviews and will proceed to permit processing as applicable.
