The Flagstaff City Planning and Zoning Commission on Jan. 28 granted continuances to March 11, 2026, for two development cases that were added to the meeting agenda.
Ben, a planner with Flagstaff Planning & Development Services, told the commission that the applicant for PZ2400236-02 requested a continuance to March 11 and that another staff member, Lindsay, would be available for questions. The commission moved to grant the continuance; the chair recorded the motion as made by Commissioner Marr and seconded by Commissioner Lukey. Staff indicated support and the motion carried.
A second newly added item, recorded as PZ2400236-01, received the same continuance date after Commissioner Christine Sheehy moved to grant the continuance and Commissioner Ian Sharp seconded; the motion carried with no public comment recorded.
Commissioners also noted that the Feb. 11 meeting is scheduled to be held at the AquaPlex (rather than City Hall) and that remote participation options will remain for commissioners and members of the public; staff will follow up on quorum planning. The meeting adjourned at 4:14 p.m.
The continuances set both items for the March 11, 2026 agenda and preserve staff availability for follow-up.
