Jonesboro finance committee forwards six municipal-lien resolutions to full council

Unidentified Speaker 1 opened the meeting and read the titles of the items. The first, Resolution 25,106, would place a municipal lien on property at 100 West Washington owned by Laurel Park LLC in the amount of $3,293,122.07. Unidentified Speaker 3 moved to "move it forward to full Council" and the committee approved forwarding the measure by voice vote with no opposition recorded.
Five additional resolutions were read and similarly forwarded: Resolution 25,107 (municipal lien on 1400 Marywood, Tanya R. Hines, amount stated as $315), Resolution 25,108 (1617 Rich Road, Randolph and Judith Reynolds, $275), Resolution 25,109 (3801 Vicki Drive, Sharon R. Caldwell, $315), Resolution 25,110 (3806 School Street, Ogla Hernandez, $275), and Resolution 25,111 (1313 Purdue, Michelle Nutt, $275). For each, Unidentified Speaker 3 moved to forward the item to full Council; each motion was seconded and advanced by voice vote, with no public comments and no votes opposed on the record.
Earlier in the meeting Unidentified Speaker 2 noted the Committee's voting system "should have recorded and it did not," and the group proceeded with voice votes for the recorded motions. The committee approved the minutes from its previous meeting earlier in the session.
The committee opened a public-comment period for items not on the agenda; no members of the public spoke. Unidentified Speaker 3 moved to adjourn and Unidentified Speaker 1 closed the meeting.
The forwarded resolutions will be considered by the full City Council at a future meeting; committee members did not debate or amend the items during the committee session.
